Aquarium Prints

Today we made aquariums! We used an ice cube tray from IKEA that had fish shapes in it. The kids flipped it upside down, painted and stamped it. Next, they used foam squares to stamp out some weeds for the fish to live in. Finally, we added a google eye or two.... or 12!

After Gym today we needed a sensory cool down with play dough. This was the kids idea. The big table was occupied so they used the top of the sensory bin that has rocks in it. I have a feeling we may need to make more soon....

More Fish Art and Games......

Our Class fish Blizzard is the inspiration for projects and games lately.....

Saved styrofoam used for an oval stamp to turn into fish prints.....

Toss the fish through the hoop (old globe holder) and try to catch it in the bucket if it lands on the recycled apple dividers (or imaginary water) it got loose!

Count your fish at snack and put them in their correct bowls!

Blizzard has given us an opportunity to look closely at fish scales and experiment in art with texture through crayon rubbing....
