Engineering Experiments

We are working through the "Dream Big" curriculum testing engineering projects. The first is inspired by the architecture of the Shanghai Tower. The kids worked for an hour and a half with noodles and marshmallows to create a 2 foot structure that could withstand wind.

This is the second of the experiments and it is testing non electric lighting solutions for the interior of buildings based on the SF Transbay Terminal.

We have been on a cooking spree at home since school let out. My oldest has found an interest in plating food and making sushi! More to come.... 

Cookies!

I had a great project planned for today about fish but the kids turned all the supplies into cookies! We had pans and pans of cookies today :)
