Nature Inspired Person....

A little ephemeral art at school today. We have been talking quite a bit about portraits and the pieces to put together to draw people and animals. One student created a person on his own today. Then, others joined in to create animals out of rocks and pine cones!

We have also been taking a closer look at Picasso and the different lines and shapes he used for his work.

Polar Bear Face Exploration

We took a break from looking at human faces for our face exploration and today we took at look at polar bears! We watched a live web cam while we drew polar bear faces....

We discussed the shape and line that we saw in the print outs of the polar bears while we drew.
